Who represents Carlos Alcaraz as his tennis agent? Albert Molina, IMG

Carlos Alcaraz’s primary agent is Albert Molina – the man often seen in his player box at tournaments.
Albert Molina, a native of Murcia, previously represented David Ferrer and Nicolás Almagro. Before moving into athlete representation, he earned a degree in physical education and worked as a fitness coach, later joining IMG as a player agent.
Molina first noticed Alcaraz when the future star was just 11. He recognized his potential, spoke with the family, and by the time Alcaraz was 12, his father had agreed to the partnership.
One of Molina’s key decisions was assembling the player’s team. He was the one who brought former world No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero into the project. Ferrero began coaching the 16-year-old Alcaraz after turning down offers from several top players.
According to Molina, he approached IMG’s leadership in the United States for funding, and the company provided part of the budget needed for Alcaraz’s early development. The remaining costs were covered personally by Ferrero, effectively making a private investment in the young Spaniard’s future.
Today, Molina’s role extends far beyond traditional agency work. He oversees career planning, scheduling, commercial strategy, and accompanies Alcaraz at most appearances – from official events to private engagements.
One of Molina’s recent deals is with ElPozo Alimentación: Alcaraz has become the face of Spain’s largest meat producer, a company with annual revenues of around €1.2 billion.
