A trip to Vilnius is a great idea for tennis lovers, whether in the height of summer or the middle of winter. The city offers numerous outdoor and indoor courts, with the SEB Arena — the largest tennis complex in the Baltics — being the crown jewel.

Courts: 20 indoor & 8 outdoor

Surface: hard, carpet

Prime time price: 43€ per hour*

The arena is considered the largest indoor tennis, squash and badminton center in Central Europe. It has outstanding facilities for amateurs. This place, located some distance from the city center, is more like a tennis town with many courts, a tennis shop, a restaurant and a hotel. On the main court of the arena, there’s equipment installed that displays the speed, accuracy, and other chosen aspects of the game in real time.

*Here, and in the following, is the winter price for booking an indoor court during the most popular times, from 18:00 to 21:00 on weekdays. During less busy hours and for players with club cards, the prices are usually lower.

2. Teniso Erdvė

Courts: 2 indoor & 5 outdoor

Surface: clay, hard

Prime time price: 41€ per hour

Charming tennis courts, situated in a scenic lakeside setting, also feature an indoor facility for games during winter or inclement weather. Visitors appreciate the welcoming staff, cleanliness, and the presence of a sauna. However, it’s worth noting that these courts are on the outskirts of the city, making them more convenient for those with cars.

6. Bernardine Garden Tennis Court

Courts: 12 outdoor

Surface: clay, artificial grass

These courts may lack an indoor area to secure a top spot in our ranking. Nevertheless, this place is unique and cherished by many tennis enthusiasts because it’s situated in one of the most picturesque locations in Vilnius, offering a view of Gediminas’ Tower. We eagerly await warmer times to relish playing tennis on these arguably the most atmospheric courts in Vilnius.
