The country earned 250 points in the Tennis Europe race thanks to a strong representation of its players in the finals and semi-finals.
In the women’s bracket, the Venezuelan-Brazilian duo of Patricia Diaz and Rafaella Miiller, last year’s champions, entered as favorites. They reached the final again, where they overcame the Italian pair Giulia Gasparri and Ninny Valentini in a tough match, winning 7-5, 6-4.
Despite losing in the final, the Italian duo managed to secure 50 valuable points in the Tennis Europe rankings for their runner-up finish.

In the men’s event, Brazilian Andre Baran and Italian Michele Cappelletti defeated the French-Italian team of Nicolas Gianotti and Mattia Spoto 6-2, 2-6, 10-6 to claim the title. This victory earned Italy an additional 50 points, further solidifying their position in the Tennis Europe beach rankings.

Italy made the biggest impact, with 29 players in the draw, including six who reached the quarterfinals and two who appeared in the final. This added 250 points to Italy’s national ranking in the race. France also performed well, earning 44 points, while Spain collected 16 points.
