The finals of the competition took place in Valencia, Spain, and Loano, Italy, from July 5 to 7.

The boys’ competition, held at the Club de Tenis Valencia, featured eight teams that advanced from the qualifying stage. In the first semi-final, the Netherlands and Great Britain faced off, with the British prevailing 2-1. In the second semi-final, the Spanish team emerged victorious over the French, also with a score of 2-1.

The final match ended with a 2-1 victory for the Spanish team, thanks to the confident play of Toni Escarda Pineiro and Izan Banares Lasala. The British team took second place, and the French team came in third.

In the girls’ under-14 category, the Czech team achieved a triumphant victory in Loano, Italy, led by the outstanding play of Jana Kovackova, the top-ranked player in the European junior U14 rankings. They first defeated the teams from Britain and Ukraine, and then won against the Austrian team in the final with a score of 2-1.

The Summer Cups tournament also serves as the European qualifier for the ITF World Junior Tennis Finals in Prostejov, Czechia, in August. Hosts Czechia and the top five teams qualify for the event. For the boys, Spain, Great Britain, France, Netherlands, and Czechia secured their spots. For the girls, Czechia, Austria, Germany, Ukraine, and Great Britain qualified.
